Cultivating Communities is a Soil Association project that promotes and
supports the development of initiatives that link farmers and consumers
in a relationship of mutual support - Community Supported Agriculture
(CSA).
In order to promote this approach towards developing sustainable food and
farming systems, the Soil Association Cultivating Communities project is
working with a number of established CSA initiatives to promote CSA and
their own particular approach. Stroud Community Agriculture is one of these ‘open’ CSAs
and shares its experience through:
- Open core group and public meetings
- Social events and work days
- Exchange visits
- Presentations
- Shared documents
