Members Events
Regular Farm Day every 4th Saturday of the month.
These workdays alternate between the 2 sites.
Odd numbered months are at Brookthorpe and
Even numbered months are at Hawkwood
Members meet at the farm from 10.00am with a bring & share picnic at 1pm.
The dates of farm days for next 5 months are
Nov 28th at Brookthorpe
No farm day in Dec
Jan 23rd at Brookthorpe
Feb 27th at Hawkwood
Mar 27th at Brookthorpe
There will be a variety of optional work groups from 10am until 1pm, so come and socialise or join in with some easy work coordinated by the farmers and there are usually children's activities organised. Then we will have a picnic lunch (bring your own food - sometimes people bring to share
- sometimes they don't - we'll probably be in the barn, if cold).
The Farm Tour which will run four times a year, a fantastic opportunity to be shown around the farm by a member of the farm team: meet the animals, see where the veggies are grown and ask questions.
Come and work! Come and play! Come and just meet people
and chat! Come and enjoy our farm!

Share the Harvest

Members collect vegetables each week and can also
buy a share of the meat, if they want to. Everyone pays a monthly contribution towards
the farm and a fee for their share of the produce.
We want to encourage people from all backgrounds and
income groups to get involved and have set up a small bursay fund to
provide help if needed.
