The Stroud Community Agriculture project also welcomes people who would like to join the community purely for the social benefits. As the project succeeds we hope it will expand to other farms and enterprises so that more people can get involved in this way of farming.

If you would like to discuss the project in more detail, please contact:

Clare/Paul Sheridan (Enquiries)

Tel: 0845 458 0814

Email: info@StroudCommunityAgriculture.org

or

Nick Weir
Tel: 01453 840037
Email: Nick@StroudCommunityAgriculture.org

Nick can also provide more detail on the concept of Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), which forms the basis of the Stroud Community Agriculture project.

     What it costs

  1. Membership only
This supports the general running of the project.
£2 (£1 concessions) per household per month.
  2. Vegetables
Whatever is in season topped up by bought in veg from local suppliers.
    £33 for the first share
(most members find that this is enough for 2 adults)

£22 for additional shares per month.

There is an option to take a trial share before joining. This costs £8.50 for one share for a single week.

If you feel that these costs are too much, then please discuss it with Carol Mathews (membership administrator) as we have a bursary scheme to ensure the project is open to all. Also let us know if you know someone who would like to make use of this bursary.
