Who we are
Stroud Community Agriculture Ltd (SCA) is a Community Co-operative, producing wholesome, organic, locally-grown vegetables, and meat for its members. You can read more about our organisation on our About SCA page.
What personal data we collect
For the purposes of becoming a member you may share the following information with us:

Physical address
Bank details
What we do with the information we gather
We use the information for membership purposes and for communicating with you.
If you gave us your consent by ticking relevant boxes in our joining form we may:
- send you updates on the farm news and events
- send you an email about our meat production and meat available to buy.
We will never share your personal information without your prior consent.
When you join as a member we ask you to set up a standing order for the payment for your veg. When you do so we will receive and keep the banking details connected with any payment you are making.
Processing and sharing your personal data
For the purpose of processing your membership our designated membership administrator has access your details. Personal data may be shared where necessary with the SCA Core Group members and, with your prior consent with other members of the SCA.
Email handlers
We circulate our e-mails through a widely used third-party e-mail handler White Fuse. This provides for the secure storage of your contact details, and it uses mailing lists for circulations in line with preferences that you have chosen in the joining form. Accounting
The SCA processes personal data that you give to it when you become a member, register for one of its events or enter into a contract with the SCA. The personal data collected will typically include your name, billing address, email address, telephone number, and banking details connected with any payment you are making to the SCA or payments the SCA is making to you.
We keep the details of any banker’s standing order which you ask us to set up to process your membership payments and to meet the legal requirements for audit. The law currently requires us to keep this information for a period of seven years after the relevant payment date.
How long we keep the information
We keep your details when you are a member. When the membership ends we will store it for 7 years for financial and tax audit.
Controlling your personal information
You have the right to view, amend and delete any personal information that you previously submitted and also withdraw any consent given. You can do it at any time. Remember if you ask us to delete your personal details while you are a member of SCA we will have to cancel your membership.

Website analytics
We do not use analytics cookies on our website, but we use some website analytics tools. We collect usage data such as the parts of our site you visit, the date and duration of your visit, your anonymised IP address, information from the device (device type, operating system, screen resolution, language, country you are located in, and web browser type) you used during your visit, the website from which you visited us from and more.
